Job Description

Preparation of Annual Plans/ Budget
Understand the Long Term and Short Term Corporate Strategy by participating in Annual Business Plan
Determine the operational and non-core operational requirement
Prepare Budgeting Framework and the template
Compile and consolidate the budgeting financial result and present it to Head Accounts for approval
Validate the budgeted financial results with all Head of Departments along with Head Finance in an Annual Operating Plan meet
Define the rule for allocation and apportionment of overheads
Create and maintain the cost center
Revision of Annual Plans/Budget
Monitor the monthly variance actual vis a vis budget
Evaluate change in budget request before submitting the same to Head Accounts and Top Management

Manage Monthly MIS/Reporting
Prepare and submit the MIS report for the organization for Head Finance and Management Review
Prepare weekly reports for CEO
Prepare monthly CTM Reports
Prepare Board Binders
Sporadic MIS requests from external agencies
Monthly reports to stakeholders
Advance Tax Payment
Calculation of Advance Tax Liability and submit it to Head Accounts & Finance for approval
Inform Head- Finance for arrangement of funds
Obtain the approval of statutory auditor/ tax consultant regarding the advance tax amount, if any
File the advance tax challan with Income tax authority and document the paid challan in the Income tax file for further references
Ensure Service Tax payments are done on time and correctly
Ensure Service Tax returns are filed on time and accurately
Ensure all compliances regarding the Service Tax registration viz., all locations are included with correct addresses etc
Any assessment notices are answered on time
Data for assessment is provided
